Aly Ndiaye, also known as Webster, is a history buff as well as a hip-hop artist who was born and raised in Quebec City's Limoilou neighborhood. He studied history at Université Laval and worked 10 years as a historic guide for Parks Canada. He started to rap in 1995 and now goes all around the world to give concerts and lectures about creative writing. He is deeply interested about the history of slavery and the presence of people of african descent in Canada from the 17th century onward. He put together this tour as a way to rehabilitate Quebec City's forgotten past.
